Alright my loves, we're here at the end of all things. Well.. maybe not the end of ALL things, but certainly at the end of an era! We're all a little worse for wear, a bit bent and maybe even a touch broken, but by the Linden Gods, we're here!  Tonight, i know i'll be a hot drunken mess, so i am saying my Happy New Year's and " I love you's!" to everyone in advance as i like to do, because knowing me, unless i have someone keeping me up, this old lady will be passed out before the ball even touches ground, LOL.

Anyhow, on to the goodies!, i was super excited upon seeing this dress on the Fifty Linden Friday list, as it was perfect and just in time for Celebrations, and just the right amount of glam, THEN i happened to check back in the blogger's room at Fake Icon and found that even though they'd had a red and green version of this lovely Tinsel Boa that was part of the free Calendar, and then under the tree on the sim, there were also other colors that are included in the fatpack which you can now purchase in the mainstore, and i highly advise that you do so! Pair that up with this gorgeous ethnic skin from Egozy with the equally gorgeous name of "Lakshmi" some striking eyes, and you have a killer combo.

I couldn't forget the sparkle of course, and for that i looked to none other than E&O who makes some pretty amazing jewelry at awesome prices! this piece actually matches the dress perfectly and was just the finishing touch i needed to make the perfect New Years outfit pop. I swung by Junk Food and grabbed a glass of bubbly(i've actually never had any in RL believe it or not!) and off i went! See you in 2020 unless i post something else first... So my lovely creepies... it's almost the end of a decade... that makes me both happy and equally sad.  I remember joining Second Life all bright eyed and bushy tailed back in 2010, fascinated with everything it had to offer, and i'm still pretty fascinated with what it is as a whole. That being said, i miss the Second Life of yesteryear. You know, for any of you who were around since it's dawn til now, you recall the time when it was possible to make seemingly endless amounts of friends and acquaintances.. dance the night away, laugh, cry, screw(yes really) and pretty much anything else to your heart's content on the grid. Man i miss those times!


These days while SL has traded in those smooshy looking noob nubs for the sleekness of mesh feet., it has also lost the warm charm it once had when it comes to its residents. I don't believe that all is lost, not when i've had almost the exact same group of friends all this time i've been here. I am pleased deeply when i venture out some random place either late or super early and run into some person who is also exploring and we strike up a great and funny convo just like back in the day. If you spot me around the grid, shout hello, i won't bite i promise! I hope a little of that old grid charm returns... with a bit of that, and a few less events, i think SL would be perfect!     So i don't know if there's any of you who have kept track of my nonsense here from the beginning. .. but if there Are then you know that i sometimes used to write stuff! I stopped doing it for a few reasons. Everything from, i didn't think anyone was really interested in my little stories, and musings, as well as ravings about the things i blogged. and i often really love to leave little explanations about the looks i put together. I don't know if you know it dear readers, but each and every single photo has a sort of story, a vision, and a vibe behind it. I think i prefer having a bit of "Method to the madness"versus it just being sort of a mindless churning out of pretty photos just because i need to fill the bloggy quota. This look here, is inspired by the spirit of my 20s,those sort of "Riot Grrls" i always used to love and admire and of course still do.


You know, the Joan Jetts, and the Veruca Salts that i grew up gushing about and singing along to, and watched grow into grown up bad ass milfs. Not only did these ladies grow into some stone cold foxes, but they stayed "punk as fuck" if you'll pardon my french and i absolutely admire all others who manage to also stay true to themselves. Here's to anyone who likes to merge styles, and make it look good. Here's to the stone cold foxes, the Joans, the Donnas, and the Betties dripping in diamonds, black, pink, brass knucks and snazzy suits. Here's to all of us. Rock on Riot Grrls ❤
