This is a bit of an ode to mental health...I've been taking just a few mental health days lately.. more than i think i have in the last few years, even when i had horrible things going on, but this time instead of it being moreso outside influences.. it's a lot to do with what is going on inside of myself and so many others around the world. Mental illness is hard. Let's just put that out there and say it for the people in the back thinking that we can just stop and " get over it"  and then begin pretending that it's not both effecting and killing people the world over, ok?  We don't all have the same things, this is true, nor even the same symptoms, but i like to think that we can be united in the fight against all of the things that ail us when it comes to this.


Lately i have been feeling restless.. not like i have nothing to do or anything like that, but like i want to do everything and my hands are tied behind my back. Like i want to run, and bust out of my own skin, and my gosh is it sometimes the most strangling feeling ever in the universe. I don't know if anyone out there can relate... i don't ever get the luxury of feeling like i can relate to anybody, so i feel kind of doubly alone all the time. Not lonely.. just ..alone.


This photo, is about how when i am at my lowest... i seek the comfort of music, of the beauty of song and melody, and i chose a song by one of my personal faves (Ms. Nina) because i have always felt a bit of a connection to her. I feel like music is the thing that soothes us all. The thing that makes everything alright again just a little while, and my favorite.. and in my opinion(you can fight me on it later) the most beautiful, happens to be that of the Violin. I hope you all are well.. i hope this helps, that it makes even one person feel less alone... and should you need it, that it lets you know you have an ear to listen here. So my lovely creepies... it's almost the end of a decade... that makes me both happy and equally sad.  I remember joining Second Life all bright eyed and bushy tailed back in 2010, fascinated with everything it had to offer, and i'm still pretty fascinated with what it is as a whole. That being said, i miss the Second Life of yesteryear. You know, for any of you who were around since it's dawn til now, you recall the time when it was possible to make seemingly endless amounts of friends and acquaintances.. dance the night away, laugh, cry, screw(yes really) and pretty much anything else to your heart's content on the grid. Man i miss those times!


These days while SL has traded in those smooshy looking noob nubs for the sleekness of mesh feet., it has also lost the warm charm it once had when it comes to its residents. I don't believe that all is lost, not when i've had almost the exact same group of friends all this time i've been here. I am pleased deeply when i venture out some random place either late or super early and run into some person who is also exploring and we strike up a great and funny convo just like back in the day. If you spot me around the grid, shout hello, i won't bite i promise! I hope a little of that old grid charm returns... with a bit of that, and a few less events, i think SL would be perfect! Today has been a super cool, chill sort of day!. Almost New Years, and i hope you all have had a lovely holidays! My goodness it's all so exhausting and festive, but New Years somehow seems much more of a big to-do in my mind. Maybe i'm overthinking that?
