This photo is actually dedicated to my true dislike of Christmas. Who could possibly hate Christmas you ask? well me, but for good reason at least i think. My grandmother raised me, and she was always sort of the center of me and my siblings lives, and we would sort of go out of our way to get her things after a certain point, because it wasn't ever really so much about what we got. we just really liked watching her open her gifts. She passed away pretty tragically back in 2006, and ever since, when this time of year rolls around, i just don't want to really participate, because it just really isn't the same. i know it's a bit much and of course it's been long enough to have gotten over it( i have) but i just haven't really found anything that gives me that warm feeling i used to have like that did. so i still hate Christmas, sadly.
This little mime, had lost her Christmas spirit as well, and couldn't seem to find a way to fill her heart at all with any joy whatsoever... In her hand fell a wee snowflake, and she marveled at the beauty of it, the intricate ice crystals, simplicity and wonder of something so small and yet it could be so amazing. it began to glow and become even more beautiful and as it did she began to think about the little things, and decided those would be the things that brought her cheer. the sad mime's frown was now turned upside down, and she did indeed find her joy after all!.. Do you think perhaps if i am very lucky, i will find mine as well?
