Ft. MASC, Egozy, Michan, Arise
This is a bit of an ode to mental health...I've been taking just a few mental health days lately.. more than i think i have in the last few years, even when i had horrible things going on, but this time instead of it being moreso outside influences.. it's a lot to do with what is going on inside of myself and so many others around the world. Mental illness is hard. Let's just put that out there and say it for the people in the back thinking that we can just stop and " get over it" and then begin pretending that it's not both effecting and killing people the world over, ok? We don't all have the same things, this is true, nor even the same symptoms, but i like to think that we can be united in the fight against all of the things that ail us when it comes to this.
Lately i have been feeling restless.. not like i have nothing to do or anything like that, but like i want to do everything and my hands are tied behind my back. Like i want to run, and bust out of my own skin, and my gosh is it sometimes the most strangling feeling ever in the universe. I don't know if anyone out there can relate... i don't ever get the luxury of feeling like i can relate to anybody, so i feel kind of doubly alone all the time. Not lonely.. just ..alone.
This photo, is about how when i am at my lowest... i seek the comfort of music, of the beauty of song and melody, and i chose a song by one of my personal faves (Ms. Nina) because i have always felt a bit of a connection to her. I feel like music is the thing that soothes us all. The thing that makes everything alright again just a little while, and my favorite.. and in my opinion(you can fight me on it later) the most beautiful, happens to be that of the Violin. I hope you all are well.. i hope this helps, that it makes even one person feel less alone... and should you need it, that it lets you know you have an ear to listen here.
